Dance Workouts




Sometimes working out can get a little monotonous. I have my go to workout apps like Nike Training Club, the Studio app for a good run, and various other treadmill workouts. However, at times I still want something different. Something that is just fun and gets my body moving. I have found three dance workouts that meet that criteria of being a little different but they are really fun and definitely get your body moving.

Popsugar Dance Party Workout



This 30 minute video incorporates a little bit of dance technique which makes it feel like you are really in a dance class. 


SweatyBetty Workout: Dance Cardio
This 40 minute sweaty betty dance cardio workout is just what you need to get those calves fired up and get your heart rate going. It has a lot of little jumps in it, which makes it a great total body workout. There are definitely modifications if the jumping gets to be a little too much.

Hip Hop Tabatas: This one is so fun

Ok, this one was 30 minutes of fun. Twenty seconds on 10 seconds rest. That's what a tabata is. You do 4 rounds of the same move and then move on to a new move. It was especially fun to learn how to do the twerk leg.
