4 Pregnancy Workouts for Home or the Gym Plus a Bollywood Dance Workout

Whether you are 8 weeks pregnant or 35 weeks pregnant, exercise is important. It positively affects the blood flow through your body, causing you to have better circulation.  Good circulation is important for both you and for baby. It helps prevent varicose veins, which is when the blood pools in the veins of your legs (or other lady parts) thus causing squiggly bulging veins and discomfort. It also helps distribute the nutrients to your baby more effectively.

I know firsthand that working out in the first trimester can be extremely difficult. You can barely hold your arms above your head to wash your hair let alone lift any weights. Your feeling nauseous and not eating very much so you don't have any energy to workout.  Yup, I get it. That's why I have rounded up 6 workouts that you can incorporate into your week.  They include a variety of yoga, barre, strength training, and aerobic.  I included a Bollywood video as a bonus because it was really fun and it made me laugh at myself and because I hope that if I do it often enough I can actually look good doing it and will even feel a little sexy while being pregnant.

The videos range from about 10 minutes to 30 minutes.  This is helpful because on the busy days, it's easy to squeeze in a quick 10 minute video to get your body loosened up and to get your blood flowing.  For the days when you have a little more time, the barre workout, strength training, and dance workout from Popsugar should give you enough of a workout to feel good but not overdue it during your pregnancy.
