Lemons are one of the healthiest foods out there. This is great news because it is so simple to add lemons to anything. Lemons pack more than 100% of your daily intake of vitamin C. They increase the "good" cholesterol HDL and strengthen bones.
Lemons also help inhibit the growth of cancer cells and act as an anti-inflammatory.
I add lemon to chicken, green beans, green smoothies, and so many other things. I also use the rinds to clean with after I have squeezed the juice out. The possibilities are endless.
